Lord Laidlaw is passionate about children at TWPA having life-changing experiences and opportunities. This is what a former pupil recently said, regarding the Music at TWPA: "Learning instruments, singing, concerts, performances, going places and meeting people showed me that I was able to do more than I thought I could. I now believe that I can be anything that I want to be! I didn't think I would be any good at playing an instrument, or would have the confidence to sing in front of professionals, but I did and I was good! If I can do that with music, I can do it with anything!"
